Help Red Lake Retain its Youth

The CCDC's Community Development Committee is in the process of creating youth retention initiatives and we are surveying youth.

The survey is for anyone between the ages of 15 and 40 who currently reside in Red Lake (or surrounding area) OR have lived in Red Lake at one time.

We have created this survey in order to get a better idea of why Red Lake's youth tend to migrate out of the community and, for those who decide to stay or return to Red Lake, what has kept them here or drawn them back.

The survey will only take you 5 minutes to do and is completely anonymous and confidential.

Welcome to the My Red Lake Community Bulletin

The Community Development Committee has received an overwhelmingly positive response to our www.MyRedLake.com website. The website was originally designed to help those new to Red Lake, or those considering relocating to the area, to find all the information they need, quickly and easily.

Since its inception in early 2009, the website has continued to update information and include new content. www.MyRedLake.com has become, not only a website for people new to the community, but also a place for current residents, even those who have lived here all their lives, to stay informed.

The website includes an extensive Calendar of Events, which highlights the endless opportunities for recreational, social, and educational activities. The Calendar of Events emphasizes the fact that, in Red Lake, there really is something for everyone and there is always a lot going on.

Steming from the Calendar of Events, this BLOG has been created to give local organizations a forum to post news and updates. Having this information posted all in one online location benefits both the organizations and anyone interested in keeping informed about what is happening in our community.

I encourage everyone to visit this BLOG often...to stay informed and get involved!
